They can also be used in households or everywhere where it is necessary to prevent unwanted manipulation of radiator heating control (children’s rooms, waiting rooms, changing rooms, corridors, common areas, etc.).

Convenient heating control takes place exclusively remotely via the Homematic IP application (when the HmIP-HAP central unit is active).
Thanks to the automatic Eco mode, the head provides energy-saving operation and battery life for up to 5 years of operation .
Unique solution
The hi-tech solution of the Homematic IP thermostatic heads consists mainly in a unique algorithm and a stepper motor control mechanism. They replace conventional thermostatic radiator heads, control the room temperature and the heating process according to individual needs, which leads to immediate savings and a reduction in energy costs by up to 30%.
Each Homematic IP head has an integrated temperature sensor. Up to three remotely adjustable heating profiles: the temperature can be regulated at time intervals (up to 6 heating phases per day with individually adjustable temperature).

System operation
The system becomes truly sophisticated in a combination of a thermostatic head, window and door sensor and a central HmIP-HAP unit, where it is possible to take full advantage of all system functionalities, including intelligent heating prediction for maximum energy savings . In the mobile application (Android and iOS in CZ) you can set up to several weekly temperature profiles, various daily modes of increasing or decreasing the temperature (per day and room) or a number of advanced scenarios.
When creating profiles and scenarios, you can take into account all your needs for heating automation with regard to energy savings and sensory temperature. You can set the night mode to sleep well, wake up to a pleasant temperature in the morning and enter the preheated bathroom.

Voice control
The Homematic IP smart home system, which includes thermostatic heads, supports voice control and communication with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa . The system has its own unique radio technology for safe, stable and reliable communication between individual devices.

Easy installation
Direct mounting on radiator bodies with M30 x 1.5 mm thread or using the supplied adapters for most standard types of radiator valves (RA, RAV and RAVL – included in the package). Simply remove the existing head and replace the eTRV-C-2 Compact Homematic IP head .
The heads are equipped with a built-in function to protect the valve against limescale and frost against calcification and freezing. Power is provided by two AA pencil batteries lasting up to 2 years.
