Using the wall-mounted remote control
With a thickness of only 12 mm, the extra-flat wall-mounted remote control (HmIP-WRCC2) offers flexible installation options and a wide range of modular applications. At the touch of one of two buttons, the controller provides a wide range of solutions from simple commands to complex smart home control scenarios.
Thanks to battery operation, the controller can be unobtrusively placed or installed in the desired location.
Remote control functions
The intelligent remote control provides two buttons that can distinguish between long and short presses. This makes it possible, for example, to switch lights on or off or to activate or deactivate the ECO heating mode.
The individual buttons can be customised to your individual needs via the Homematic IP mobile app. Depending on the assigned program, each button can control multiple devices and functions of the Homematic IP smart home. Each button can be independently configured and thus conveniently control already connected (programmed) devices.
System operation
The connection of the Wall Remote Controller (HmIP-WRCC2) to the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP) offers convenient setup and control of the comprehensive Homematic IP smart home system using an intuitive app (for Android and iOS in CZ) designed for smartphones and devices. The mobile app enables instant response to messages and alerts from your smart home system and connects all devices Homematic IP via free, unlimited cloud, which allows setting up and managing the system from anywhere in the world, transferring important information, updating software and firmware of devices, forwarding configuration and operational commands from the Homematic IP application to individual devices smart home.

This means that the Wall-mounted Remote Control (HmIP-WRCC2) can be attached to a standard flush-mounted box or placed freely anywhere.
