Access Control Starter Kit (HmIP-SK14)
The access control starter kit (HmIP-SK14) from the Homematic IP series serves as a convenient and safe alternative to manually unlocking, locking and opening the front door when entering the home. The key fob remote control (HmIP-KRCK) in combination with the Door Lock Drive (HmIP-DLD) is the ideal solution for intelligent door unlocking, locking and opening. The remote control serves as a pleasant and contactless alternative to a conventional key. To make coming home as comfortable as possible, you can use the additional light button to control the optional lighting in the entrance area.

Central unit (HmIP-HAP)
It works as an access point and offers convenient setup and control of the complex Homematic IP security and smart home system via an Ethernet connection to a standard router and via an intuitive app (for Android and iOS in CZ localization) designed for smartphones. Mobile The app allows you to instantly respond to messages and alerts from your smart home system and connects all Homematic IP devices via a free, unlimited cloud, which allows you to set up and control the system from anywhere in the world, transfer important information and update the software and firmware of the devices, and pass configuration and operational commands from the Homematic IP app to the individual smart home devices.
Of course, voice control via the home assistant is also available (communication with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa supported).
System capacity
Up to 15 users, 80 system components, video cameras and countless scenarios can be connected to the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP). By connecting an additional Central Unit (HmIP-HAP) , the system can be expanded by up to 40 additional system components (maximum 120 components and 2 Central Units per installation).
Wireless Door Lock Drive (HmIP-DLD)
The intelligent door lock actuator for convenient, motor-driven door unlocking, locking and opening is part of the Homematic IP smart home system.
Easy installation
Wireless communication and battery operation offer the possibility of easy installation without the need for wiring. An important factor for installation is the size of the cylinder, which must protrude 8-15 mm on the inside of the door. If this is not the case, it is recommended to purchase a new cylinder with an optimum preload of 10 mm at the same time as the device. Standard assembly is carried out using the assembly material included in the package, without any mechanical intervention in the door. The mounting bracket design of the Door Lock Drive (HmIP-DLD) offers additional holes for optional bolt attachment to the internal hardware or door leaf.
High performance lenses
The device offers multiple control options for all ages from children to seniors. The door lock drive can be easily operated manually from the outside with the key and from the inside with the emergency rotary ring.
Brightness sensor
The user can individually define and at the same time control access to the entrance thanks to configurable access permissions regardless of the day of the week or time. An example of this would be cleaning staff or a care service that will only be able to enter an apartment or house using a wireless Remote Key Fob (HmIP-KRCK) on a certain day of the week and at a certain time. In addition, the individual states are written to a log file in the application for later access control.
Power supply
The 3 AA replaceable power supply batteries allow low maintenance operation and ensure the device will run for up to 6 months (in the case of lithium power supply batteries, the operating time can be up to several times longer depending on the frequency of use of the device). As soon as the capacity of the supply batteries is reduced to a minimum, the user is informed by the Homematic IP application.
Wireless Remote Control (key fob) - access (HmIP-KRCK)
Elegant wireless key fob from the Homematic IP series, allowing easy operation of the wireless intelligent door lock drive (HmIP-DLD) at the touch of a button. The handy little remote can fit in any pocket and despite its compact size with four buttons, it can provide many useful functions. The three buttons of the wireless key fob with fixed functions can be used to simply unlock, lock or open the door, while the fourth button is freely programmable and can control other Homematic IP smart home devices or activate a user-configured operation (e.g. switching lights on or off).
Smart mobile app Homematic IP
Once the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP) is connected to the internet, all functions can be used via the free Homematic IP app for smart devices available for Android and iOS. The intuitive application in Czech localization is regularly updated and extended with additional functions and devices, offering a clear overview of all possible functions and scenarios. The Homematic IP mobile app allows control of several Central Units (HmIP-HAP) in different installations (e.g. for holiday homes, apartment rentals, etc.).
Smart home voice control
A large number of Homematic IP devices and system functions offer convenient voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Communication and security
The central unit (HmIP-HAP) is connected to a standard router via an Ethernet cable (RJ-45) and serves as an interface between the Homematic IP cloud located exclusively on servers in Germany and the Homematic IP devices in your home.
For secure, stable and reliable communication, the system has its own unique radio technology at the operating frequency of 868.0 – 869.525 MHz with fully encrypted AES-128 communication. Operating on this frequency limits wireless transmissions to 1% of the clock time, ensuring long battery life for connected devices and users are not exposed to continuous wireless radiation. In addition, the central unit (HmIP-HAP) reliably detects radio interference.
The security of the wireless IP protocol has been tested by the independent testing laboratory Techniker-Verband VDE in Germany and the testing institute AV-TEST.
The Homematic IP wireless technology allows communication with components up to 400 m in the open or over several floors of a high-rise building, enabling reliable connection of devices even in remote locations. And if it is necessary to increase the range, it is sufficient to add a Switching socket (HmIP-PSM-PE) locally, which also acts as a signal repeater or another Central Unit (HmIP-HAP).
Privacy Protection
No personal data is collected during activation or operation, so users remain completely anonymous, even though the system is cloud-based.
