The elegant wireless key fob (HmIP-KRC4) with 4 configurable buttons is part of the Homematic IP smart home system.
This compact remote control allows easy control of pre-programmed operations and is an alternative to the Homematic IP application.
Use
The handy and small remote control (HmIP-KRC4) fits in every pocket and despite its compact size with four buttons, it can be used as a universal remote control for controlling devices and system functions.
LED indication
The key fob is equipped with a status LED indicator, which also indicates the successful or unsuccessful execution of the command.
Functions
Each of the four buttons can be customised to your individual needs via the Homematic IP mobile app. Depending on the assigned program, each button can control multiple devices and functions of the Homematic IP smart home. Each button can be independently configured and thus conveniently control already connected (programmed) devices.
For example, you can control switching groups, scenarios, switch lights on and off or even dim, raise and lower roller shutters, control garage doors and gates or discreetly trigger a silent alarm in a crisis situation.
Power supply
Even with frequent daily use, the remote control can last up to 2 years on a single AAA battery.
Resilience
The controller operates reliably over a wide temperature range (-10 °C to +55 °C). The fibreglass-reinforced and halogen-free housing makes the remote control particularly durable and stable. It is thus destined to be worn on a key ring. Even in the hands of children, it can handle any challenging everyday situation.
