Elegant wireless keychain (HmIP-KRCA)

The elegant wireless key fob (HmIP-KRCA), which allows easy control of the security part of the system at the touch of a button, is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and an alternative to the Homematic IP app.

Use

The handy little remote control (HmIP-KRCA) from the Homematic IP series fits in every pocket and can provide a range of useful functions despite its compact size.

The four buttons can be used to individually control other devices as well as the functions of the security part of the Homematic IP system. Fully or partially activate the alarm mode, deactivate the alarm mode or activate a preconfigured operation (e.g. lights on or off).

LED indication

The key fob is equipped with a status LED indicator, which also indicates the successful or unsuccessful execution of the command.

High performance lenses

Full security activation button – activates the absence mode and all devices classified under this mode (normally outdoor and indoor PIR motion sensors (HmIP-SMx) and window and door sensors (HmIP-SWDx) inside and outside the guarded object).

Partial security activation button – the presence mode and all devices classified under this mode will be activated (normally outdoor PIR motion sensors (HmIP-SMO) and window and door sensors (HmIP-SWDx) inside and outside the guarded object will be activated, while other optional sensors inside the object will remain deactivated and the user can move freely inside the object).

Security mode deactivation button – deactivates all devices classified under the security modes (normally indoor and outdoor PIR motion sensors (HmIP-SMx) and window and door sensors (HmIP-SWDx) inside and outside the guarded object) and deactivates the active siren alarm tone.

Programmable button – used to activate or deactivate a pre-programmed function in the Homematic IP application. It can be used, for example, to light up the outdoor lighting of a building for a greater sense of security when returning home at night.

Power supply

Even with frequent daily use, the remote control can last up to 2 years on a single AAA battery.

Resilience

The controller operates reliably over a wide temperature range (-10 °C to +55 °C). The fibreglass-reinforced and halogen-free housing makes the remote control particularly durable and stable.
It is thus destined to be worn on a key ring. Even in the hands of children, it can handle any challenging everyday situation.

Wide range of uses

The HOMEMATIC remote control is ideal for versatile use in homes, offices, businesses, medical facilities, etc.
