Conventional thermostatic heads are usually not the solution because they cannot optimise your individual needs. This is just one of the many reasons to get the Evo Smart Thermostatic Head (HmIP-eTRV-E) from the Homematic IP range.

The clever thermostatic radiator head combines simple and modern design with German precision and virtually noiseless temperature control to provide an unrivalled solution for even the most demanding customers.

The Evo head also impresses with its unobtrusive integrated LED display, which makes it easy to read the resulting temperature and operating modes.
Unique solution
The hi-tech solution of the Homematic IP thermostatic controllers consists mainly of a unique algorithm and a stepper motor control mechanism. Replacing conventional thermostatic radiator heads, they control the room temperature and the heating process according to individual needs, resulting in immediate savings and a reduction in energy costs of up to 30%.
Each Homematic IP head has an integrated temperature sensor. Up to three adjustable heating profiles: the temperature can be regulated in time intervals (up to 6 heating phases per day with individually adjustable temperature).
The heads can operate autonomously, but are primarily designed to work in the Homematic IP smart home system.
The temperature change can be changed manually, controlled via one of the Homematic IP wall thermostats or remotely controlled and automated using the Homematic IP mobile app in combination with the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP).
System operation
The system gets really sophisticated in the combination of thermostatic head, window and door sensor (e.g. HmIP-SWDO or HmIP-SRH) and Central Units (HmIP-HAP),
when it is possible to take full advantage of all system functionalities including intelligent heating prediction for maximum energy savings. In the mobile app (for Android and iOS in CZ), you can set up to several weekly temperature profiles, different daily temperature increase or decrease modes (per day and room) or a variety of advanced scenarios.
When creating profiles and scenarios, you can take into account all your needs for heating automation with regard to energy savings and sensible temperature.
You can set the night mode so that you get a good night’s sleep, wake up to a comfortable temperature in the morning and enter a pre-warmed bathroom.
Enjoy moments of leisure in your living room at an individually set temperature or save precious energy while you’re away from home.
Voice control
The Homematic IP smart home system, of which the thermostatic heads are a part , supports voice control and communication with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
For safe, stable and reliable communication, the system has its own unique radio technology between the devices.
Uninterrupted sleep
Homematic IP thermostatic heads can be installed in bedrooms and children’s rooms due to their quiet operation and damped housing design technology,
which is one of the main advantages of the head for your carefree and undisturbed sleep.
Protection against theft
The head can be easily secured against theft or tampering with an optional guard that prevents the nut from loosening.
Power supply
Power is provided by two AA batteries with a lifetime of up to 2 years.
As soon as the capacity of the supply batteries is reduced to a minimum, the user is informed by the Homematic IP application.
Easy installation
Direct mounting on radiator bodies with M30 x 1.5 mm thread or using the supplied adapters for most standard types of radiator valves(RA, RAV and RAVL – included).
Simply remove the existing head and replace with the Evo head (HmIP-eTRV-E) from the Homematic IP range.
The heads are equipped with a built-in valve protection function against limescale and frost from calcification and freezing.
