The wireless Wall Thermostat Basic (HmIP-WTH-B) from the Homematic IP series enables time-controlled room temperature control in conjunction with thermostatic heads (HmIP-eTRV) from the Homematic IP series or Floor Heating Action Members (HmIP-FAL).

Combined operation
You can easily use the wall thermostat Basic (HmIP-WTH-B) for autonomous room temperature control in combination with the Thermostatic Heads Basic (HmIP-eTRV-B) and the Window and Door Sensor (HmIP-SWDM), which, if a window is detected to be open, transmits the information to the thermostatic head and it automatically reduces the hot water supply to the radiator. As soon as the window is closed, the radiator starts to raise the room temperature again.
One wireless Wall Thermostat Basic (HmIP-WTH-B) can be combined with up to eight Window and Door Sensors (HmIP-SWDM).
System operation
If you subsequently decide that this solution is not sufficient, you can always keep your smart home options open. It is enough to buy the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP) and gradually expand the system with other peripherals to create your complete smart home.
The Homematic IP Series Wireless Programmable Wall Thermostat Basic (HmIP-WTH-B) with 2.6″ LED display to show current temperature and humidity is a smart way to control heating and save energy.
The room temperature can be changed manually, controlled via thermostatic heads, one of the Homematic IP wall thermostats or remotely controlled and automated using a mobile app in combination with the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP).

The system becomes truly sophisticated when combining the thermostatic head (HmIP-eTRV), window and door sensor (HmIP-SWDx) and the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP), where it is possible to take full advantage of all system functionalities including intelligent heating prediction for maximum energy savings. In the mobile app (for Android and iOS in CZ), you can set up to several weekly temperature profiles, different daily temperature increase or decrease modes (per day and room) or a variety of advanced scenarios.
When creating profiles and scenarios, you can take into account all your needs for heating automation with regard to energy savings and sensible temperature. You can set the night mode so that you get a good night’s sleep, wake up to a comfortable temperature in the morning and enter a pre-warmed bathroom.

Alarm functions
Up to three adjustable heating profiles: the temperature can be regulated in time intervals (up to 6 heating phases per day with individually adjustable temperature).
Other heating, cooling or air conditioning devices can also be controlled via Homematic IP switching actuators. The wall thermostat can control both heating and cooling operation.
Thanks to the integrated sensor, it allows, among other things, to evaluate the humidity level in the room and thus effectively control the air conditioning or ventilation.
Possible applications for the thermostat include direct stand-alone control of a heat source or use as a room sensor for measuring and adjusting temperature within a multi-zone control system. Temperature control is automatic and heating is only carried out when necessary.
The temperature can be accurately adjusted using the buttons in 0.5 °C increments. The thermostat has a Boost function for fast room heating.
Voice control
The Homematic IP smart home system, of which the wall thermostats are part, supports voice control and communication with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. For safe, stable and reliable communication, the system has its own unique radio technology between the devices.
Power supply
2 pieces of replaceable AA batteries allow low-maintenance operation and ensure up to extremely long 6-year operation of the device. As soon as the capacity of the supply batteries is reduced to a minimum, the user is informed by the Homematic IP application .
Easy installation
Wireless communication and battery operation offer the possibility of easy installation without the need for wiring. This means that the thermostat can be placed anywhere in the room to measure the room temperature at the desired location.
